SGS INTRON to Attend Concrete Day 2010 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands

Throughout the exhibition, SGS INTRON will present the broad scope of its joint service portfolio for the building sector fields of quality control, quality improvement and quality prediction.

Concrete Day is widely recognized as one of the leading events for the construction sector in Europe. Held at the De Doelen Concert and Congress Center in Rotterdam, the exhibition focuses on the latest changes and innovations occurring in the construction sector.

With the theme 'Innovations in Roles and Technology: the New Concrete Chain?' Concrete Day 2010 is expected to bring together more than 3,500 professionals from the construction industry, including consulting engineers from the commercial construction and infrastructure sectors, commissioning clients and contractors, the Netherlands Department of Public Works and Water Management, the Netherlands State Building Service and the Association of Certified Concrete Repairers.

The one-day event provides a perfect opportunity for SGS INTRON to forge new business partnerships and present its joint portfolio of services for the construction industry in the fields of quality control, quality improvement and quality prediction of products and processes.

A team of 10 experts from SGS INTRON will provide attendees with interesting information about value added services for the building sector.

On January 15, 2010, SGS Group acquired INTRON Holding BV. to realize an important step in the further diversification of its Industrial Services activities in the Netherlands.
