SFC Energy: Dutch subsidiary PBF Group B.V. delivers Power Electronics Prototype for Aviation Applications(PresseBox) (Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, )
PBF’s high quality power supplies will ensure safe and reliable operation of galley systems used on board of commercial airplanes.

PBF Group B.V., Dutch subsidiary of SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading provider of hybrid power solutions to the stationary and mobile power generation markets, announces the delivery of a first series of power supply prototypes to be used in commercial aircrafts. The delivery builds on a prior development order and has a total value of EUR 0.5 mio. Over the coming months, the customer will qualify the prototype power supplies in the application. Commercialization of the new power supply is expected for 2018.
PBF has designed the exclusive, customized power supply solutions specifically for galley systems operated on board of commercial airplanes. Galley systems are used to store, prepare and serve food and beverages on board. The power supply solutions ensure safe, reliable and highly efficient in-flight operation of the devices.
