International OpenSource Conference "samba eXPerience 2011"
"samba eXPerience 2011" at April 9th and 11th 2011 in Goettingen/Germany
- The schedule for the 10th "sambaXP" is online and the organizers are excited about this anniversary!
Last year's conference was about the ending global crisis and this conference can report about continuous success in the areas clustering, authentication and interoperability. Samba 4 did a big step forward again and clustered Samba is a crucial resource in "private clouds" all over the planet.
The keynote will be presented by Brad Kuhn (Software Freedom Conservancy / Free Software Foundation), followed by more than 20 talks in two tracks during the two conference days.
The one day tutorial track about clustering and CTDB will be held again by Michael Adam (SerNet), and an additional tutorial by Mark Proehl (science & computing) will focus on Kerberos and LDAP.
A third tutorial will be presented by Matthieu Patou about a Samba 4 setup, that he ran for three years under production conditions.
