Seika Goes to the SMTA Carolinas Expo & Tech Forum

TORRANCE, CA, (PresseBox) - Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, announces that it will attend the SMTA Carolinas Expo & Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Double Tree Raleigh Brownstone - University in Raleigh, NC. Seika will highlight the new HIOKI 1240 Flying Probe Tester and proven McDry Cabinets.

The HIOKI 1240 Flying Probe Tester provides a variety of benefits compared to conventional testing machinery. Some of these benefits include jig-less inspection for quick setup as well as the proficient testing of mis-mounted components, faulty components and poor contacts. Through resistance testing, the flying probe test is able to assess solder joints promptly, while still thwarting board damage through use of the soft-landing feature. HIOKI features a four-wire measurement function and the capabilities of the series extend to the active in-circuit test of FETs, relays and three-terminal voltage regulators - applications that are regarded as challenging test issues for conventional equipment.

All McDry Ultra-Low Humidity Storage Cabinets conform to IPC/JEDEC J-STD 033C and IPC 1601 Standards. Additionally, the ESD-safe design adheres to the IEC-61340-5-1 (ESD) Standard. McDry cabinets dehumidify ICs to prevent micro-cracking and are an alternative to baking, MBBs and nitrogen storage.

Seika Machinery continues to support local SMTA chapter vendor shows and Michelle Ogihara will attend the event with promotional information. For more information about Seika Machinery, Inc., meet company representatives at the SMTA Carolinas Expo & Tech Forum or visit www.seikausa.com.
