secunet Security Networks AG präsentiert auf der CeBIT erstmalig den SINA Virtual Desktop. Damit vergrößert sich die SINA Lösungsfamilie um eine weitere Hochsicherheitskomponente. Der SINA Virtual Desktop macht SINA-Sicherheitsfunktionen auch für Windows-Anwender nutzbar. Durch eine sichere Virtualisierungstechnologie wird die SINA-Plattform in eine Windows-Umgebung integriert.

Die Virtualisierungstechnologie erlaubt es ein vollständiges SINA-Linux Betriebssystem innerhalb einer Windows-Umgebung zu starten. Daher kann unter SINA-Linux nicht unterstützte Hardware mit Treibern und Anwendungen, die nur in Windows zur Verfügung stehen, zur Netzanbindung und für weitere Funktionen jetzt auch genutzt werden. Die Vorteile bewährter Hardware und komfortabler Anwendungen werden so mit maximalem Schutz kombiniert.
