Die umfangreichen Veroeffentlichungen zu den Abhoermassnahmen der NSA haben in den vergangenen Monaten deutlich werden lassen, dass die Gefahr droht, dass das Internet sich zu einer UEberwachungsinfrastruktur entwickelt. Dabei muss man den neugierigen Zugriffen der auslaendischen Nachrichtendienste nicht tatenlos zusehen, denn es gibt zahlreiche Selbstschutzmassnahmen, die das Datensammeln verhindern oder zumindest erheblich erschweren.

Um das Wissen um diese Moeglichkeiten einer breiteren OEffentlichkeit zugaenglich zu machen, veranstaltete die Karlsruher IT-Sicherheitsinitiative(KA-IT-Si, www.ka-it-si.de) zusammen mit dem Kompetenzzentrum fuer angewandte Sicherheitstechnologie (KASTEL, www.kastel.kit.edu), dem CyberForum e.V. (www.cyberforum.de) und dem ZKM | Karlsruhe(www.zkm.de) am 5. September 2013 eine "Anti-Prism-Party" fuer Jedermann.
