Eine neue Familie anisotroper magnetoresistiver (AMR) 2-Pin-Sensor-ICs für die Drehzahl- und Positionserfassung in Getrieben, Motorkurbeln etc. führt SE Spezial-Electronic ab sofort mit dem PWM-Geschwindigkeits- und Richtungssensor VM721D1 sowie dem Geschwindigkeitssensor VM721V1 von Honeywell im Portfolio.

Das in den beiden Sensor-ICs zum Einsatz kommende AMR-Brückenarray arbeitet mit einem größeren Luftspalt als üblicherweise verwendete Hall-Effekt-Sensor-ICs. Dank seines einzigartigen Brückendesigns besitzt das Array eine höhere Empfindlichkeit als Hall-Effekt-Sensor-ICs und erfordert keine automatische Verstärkungsregelung oder Chopper-Stabilisierung, die zu erhöhtem Jitter führen kann.
