Used trailers - New DEKRA seal certifies quality

(PresseBox) ( Horstmar, )
Economic recovery also means an increasing demand for used trailers. Transport companies are on the look-out for cost-effective yet high-quality used vehicles. The Cargobull Trailer Store (CTS), the 100 percent Schmitz Cargobull subsidiary for used vehicles, has clearly felt the growing demand on the market since 2009. Approximately 8,000 vehicles, of which 2,700 were in Germany, were sold during the 2009/2010 business year.

In order to continue being able to offer customers high-quality used trailers, CTS has them inspected by independent experts from DEKRA Automobil GmbH. The neutral DEKRA experts perform a complete inspection on all of the important parts of the used vehicles, such as the brakes, lights and body, before they are made available for resale. These inspection reports are also available on the Internet at as part of the vehicles' detailed view.

Particularly high-quality vehicles are offered with the "TrailerPlus" service package and receive the "DEKRA seal for used trailers" following the comprehensive inspection. This seal notifies customers that the vehicle is in perfect condition, roadworthy and complies with the regulations. The "TrailerPlus" service package includes, among other features, a 6-month warranty, a 10-day reversal option and breakdown coverage for 12 months. This provides the customers with a sound basis for their purchase decision.
