Supervisory Board extends the Members of the Board's contracts until 2016
Ulrich Schümer has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Board for a further 5 years
The current 3-year contact awarded to Andreas Schmitz (Board member responsible for Central and Eastern European sales) was due to end on the 15th December 2011 but the Supervisory Board has now extended this Board Member's contract by five years up to the 15th December 2016.
The current 5-year contracts for Ulrich Schümer (Chairman of the Board), Ulrich Schöpker (Sales in Western Europe and Marketing) were also due to end on the 15th December 2013 and the Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG has extended both contracts ahead of schedule so that both contracts now run until the 15th December 2016.

Schmitz Cargobull AG has its origins in Altenberge in Munsterland (Germany), and was founded as a forge in 1892. Since then the company has developed into the European trailer and body manufacturer in the commercial vehicle industry with the highest turnover.
