Beim gemeinsamen Lieferantentag der Daimler AG und der Schenker Deutschland AG am 9. Oktober 2012 besichtigten nationale und internationale Partner der Automobilindustrie das moderne Logistikzentrum von DB Schenker im Industriepark Bremen. "Wir haben unsere Dienstleistungspalette hier im Industriepark ganz auf die individuellen Anforderungen von Just-in-Sequence-Lieferanten zugeschnitten", erklärt Hans Kleer, Leiter der Geschäftsstelle Bremen/Logistik der Schenker Deutschland AG. "Zulieferer profitieren hiervon gleich in mehrfacher Hinsicht: Sie nutzen die Lagerkapazitäten, das Mitarbeiter-Know-how und die lückenlose IT von DB Schenker Logistics. Auf Wunsch haben sie auch die Möglichkeit, ihre Waren in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Verbauungsort zu finalisieren."
