Die ersten renovierten U3-Metros für den Verkehrsbetrieb Metrorrey sind im Depot Tallares in Monterrrey eingetroffen. Talbot hat zusammen mit Schaltbau Refurbishment ( SBRS ) als Elektropartner und PROSE als Engineering-Partner den ersten Schritt für den erfolgreichen Betrieb der U-Bahnen vollzogen. Zu den geleisteten Arbeiten gehörten eine komplette Erneuerung des elektrischen Systems, einschließlich eines neuen Traktionssystems und TCMS, die Ergänzung eines HVAC-Systems, eine komplette Neugestaltung der Innenausstattung einschließlich der Umstellung von Quer- auf Längssitzplätze und die Entfernung eines Führerstands zur Erhöhung der Zugkapazität.

Der nächste Schritt auf dem Weg zum Betrieb wird eine vollständige Überprüfung der Fahrzeuge und die Inbetriebnahme der Nionrszbe xklc.
