scemtec introduces the HF Desktop Reader/Writer SIR-2012-L

Gummersbach, (PresseBox) - The SIR-2012-L is a high class RFID desktop reader/writer and is designed to read and write various HF tags. Supported Tag types are ISO15693, ISO18000-3 or Fujitsu FRAM. The very flat reader/writer with integrated antenna comes with an outstanding performance and a modern design. The housing of the SIR-2012-L is specially designed for environments where high expectations for appearance and feel are required, such as office environments, configuration of access control systems or payment systems. With small dimensions of 300mm x 250mm x 23mm the SIR-2012-L can be ideally intergrated into the infrastructure.

The RFID tags can be easily read or written by a PC or notebook with the provided configuratuon Software "SmartRead". The SIR-2012-L communicates via a standard USB connection, providing a convenient interface. The output power is typ.500mW with PoUSB and a reading distance of up to 40cm ( ISO-card size Tag) can be reached.
