Samsung Electronics, einer der führenden Hersteller preisgekrönter und innovativer Unterhaltungselektronik, hat heute mit dem DVD-H1080 einen DVD-Player der zweiten Generation vorgestellt. Als Nachfolger des letztjährigen, kieselsteinartigen Modells DVD-F1080 ist der neue Player DVD-H1080 genauso kompakt wie das Original. Das Gerät ist nur geringfügig größer als die DVD-Scheiben, die sich in ihm drehen, und wiegt nur wenig mehr als ein Kilogramm. Samsungs DVD-H1080 ist während der International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), die vom 8. bis 11. Januar 2009 im Las Vegas Convention Center stattfindet, an Stand Nr. 11033 zu sehen.
