RWE AG is expanding its activities in Eastern Europe and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Serbian utility JP Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) and the Serbian government for this purpose.
Going forward, the partners intend to cooperate in joint projects to develop the Serbian electricity market. The agreement was signed today during State President Tadic's visit to Berlin to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Economics Minister Rainer Brüderle was also present.
