Epson Toyocom Corporation hat zwei neue SAW-Oszillatoren mit HCSL(High-Speed Current-Steering Logic)-Ausgang entwickelt, den EG-2102CA HCSL und den EG-2121CA HCSL. Dank des geringen Jitters und des niedrigen Phasenrauschens eignen sich diese Oszillatoren perfekt für PCI Express und FB-DIMM Anwendungen. Zudem unterstützen sie einen HCSL-Ausgang für High-Speed-Schnittstellen. Erhältlich ist das neue Produkt ab sofort über Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH.

High-Speed-Schnittstellen (PCI Express/Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) in PCs und Workstations sowie FB (Fully Buffered)-DIMM kommen immer häufiger zum Einsatz. Bei diesen Komponenten sind Oszillatoren als Taktreferenzen gefragt, die mit Frequenzen über 100 MHz hinaus arbeiten und über einen HCSL-Ausgang verfügen.
