Fast, Light And Safe Solution Wipes Away Health Risks

Hereford, (PresseBox) - RPC Containers Oakham is reporting a surge in sales of its lightweight wipes packaging, in response to growing public awareness of the need for effective hand hygiene.

The recently launched solution, comprising a pail with handle and a lid with fitment, is tailored to the needs of the wet wipe market. Rather than supplying a standard pail designed to contain heavy products such as paint, RPC Oakham has redesigned its tooling to reduce the amount of polypropylene in the pack walls and to extend the container height to suit the wipes industry's filling and lidding processes.

In the light of ongoing threats to public health such as swine flu, orders for the pail range - available in sizes from 2.5L upwards - have risen as end users recognise the value of a bulk hygiene solution. "While hand pumps remain the most practical solution for individual use, wipes are ideal in larger organisations and public places that require substantial cleaning, including hospitals and office buildings," explains Mark Seddon of RPC Oakham.

The new pail solution ensures fast, safe and efficient cleaning. The fitment is tamper-evident for enhanced product security before use and easily recloseable to keep wipes moist between uses. The smoothness of the pail walls and lids also remove the risk of germs gathering on-pack, which might compromise the effectiveness of the cleaning operation.

As a reputable supplier to the wipes industry, RPC Oakham can offer unparalleled speed of supply and flexibility to suit customer needs. This includes a variety of decoration options to ensure eye-catching appearance and brand differentiation. Both in-mould labelling (IML) and dry-offset printing are available, the handle can be supplied in plastic or metal, and the lid and fitment can be specified in a range of colours.
