ROTEC the newcomer to the BAU 2013

Mülheim-Kärlich, (PresseBox) - For the first time, Rotec GmbH & Co. KG will present silicate lightweight aggregates with a unique lifecycle assessment in Munich, in Hall A2, booth no. 329.

As a leading European manufacturer with an annual production output of about 180,000 tons of silicate lightweight aggregates, Rotec consistently works on the environment friendly improvements to its mining and processing operations.

The ecological lightweight aggregates of Rotec refine and optimize a myriad of product ranges in the areas of industry, construction and do-it-yourself solutions, with regard to energy efficiency, net weight and processing properties.

At the BAU 2013 Rotec will present five product areas:

1. ROTOCELL, a very lightweight and dry granulate, which is enhanced through special grinding and sieving processes to high purity grades. 8 grain sizes from super fine 0.04 mm to 4 mm allow for product innovations in almost every industrial field.

2. ROTOCELL PLUS is produced through a patented refining process that produces a water repellent high-tech granulate. ROTOCELL and ROTOCELL PLUS are used around the globe in lightweight concrete products, dry mortars, construction chemical applications, dry fills, insulation materials and filter technology.

3. ROTOBASE is the innovative additive for all cement- and lime bound materials.

4. HYBILAT is a safe and environmentally friendly oil and chemical binder that combines excellent product properties with high safety standards that is also DEKRA certified.

5. RUTSCH-EX is an environmentally friendly salt free natural winter grit that combines excellent product properties with economic advantages.
