Mit dem UFD40 stellt ROLAND ELECTRONIC GmbH den Nachfolger des bewährten UFD-Systems vor. Das UFD40 dient der Erkennung von Fehlern, Stoßnähten und mechanischen Verbindungen in Drähten, Kabeln und Rohren aus metallischen Werkstoffen (Stahl, Edelstahl, Kupfer, Messing, Alu etc.).

Das Messprinzip des UFD40 beruht auf dem Wirbelstromverfahren. Zur Messung werden Durchlaufspulen verwendet, durch die das Material während des Prozesses geführt wird. ROLAND ELECTRONIC bietet derzeit Durchlaufspulen für Materialdurchmesser von 1 bis 90mm an. Das UFD40 verfügt über Eigenschaften von klassischen Wirbelstromprüfgeräten der automatisierten Fehlerprüfung. Dazu gehören wählbare Arbeitsfrequenz, Hochpass- und Tiefpassfilter, Y-Komponenten- und Betragsauswertung. Damit ist die Detektion unterschiedlichster Nähte mit xto- krm pimoxybbs Culnwvda ieymizl.
