Mit der neuen Option R&S FSW-B5000 adressiert Rohde & Schwarz den schnell wachsenden Bedarf nach Charakterisierung von Breitbandkomponenten und -systemen. In Kombination mit dem Oszilloskop R&S RTO2064 als externer A/D-Wandler bietet der Signal- und Spektrumanalysator R&S FSW85 mit der neuen Hardware-Option eine entzerrte Signalanalysebandbreite von 5 GHz.

Amplituden- und Phasengang des R&S FSW85 zusammen mit der Option R&S FSW-B5000 sind werksseitig über den gesamten Frequenzbereich vollständig charakterisiert. Die Messgenauigkeit für Amplitude und Phase sind über die gesamte Messbandbreite garantiert. Die Option R&S FSW-B5000 unterstützt Mittenfrequenzen zwischen 9,5 GHz und 90 GHz.
