Die RKW Agri GmbH & Co. KG beabsichtigt, den Geschäftsbetrieb des deutschen Folienherstellers Biofol Film GmbH zu übernehmen und verfolgt damit weiter konsequent den Wachstumskurs im Agrar- und Bausektor. Der Erwerb steht derzeit noch unter Vorbehalt der Zustimmung des Bundeskartellamts.

Die RKW Agri GmbH & Co. KG ist eine Tochtergesellschaft der RKW-Gruppe, einem führenden Hersteller von Kunststofffolien und Vliesstoffen. Mit der Akquisition wollen RKW und Biofol Film ihre Kompetenzen auf dem Gebiet Agrar- und Baufolien bündeln und dieses Segment weiter ausbauen.
