Riedel Communications, führender Anbieter von Echtzeitnetzwerken für Video, Audio und Kommunikation, ist für das Red Bull Stratos Projekt mit dem renommierten Emmy Award ausgezeichnet worden.

Als Teil des Red Bull Stratos Projekts wurde Riedel mit dem bedeutenden Sports Emmy Award der National Academy of Television Arts and Science auf der vierunddreißigsten Verleihung der Sports Emmy Awards in New York ausgezeichnet. Der Emmy wurde der Aufsehen erregenden Red Bull Media House Produktion Red Bull Stratos in der Kategorie "Outstanding New Approaches Sports Event Coverage" verliehen. Der Emmy Award gilt als Oscar des Sportfernsehens.
