No extension of contract with European Recycling Platform S.A.S.

Dornach, (PresseBox) - The contract between European Recycling Platform S.A.S. and CCR Logistics Systems AG will not be extended beyond the period agreed upon (December 31, 2007). This means that CCR Logistics Systems AG will lose sales revenues of approximately EUR 10 million per year under this contract from 2008 onwards. No negative effects on the result are, however, expected. CCR will continue to significantly step up its expansion outside Germany and offer WEEE and other services to all customers all over Europe.

The contract entered into on December 1, 2004 with European Recycling Platform S.A.S. ("ERP“) concerning the take-back of waste electrical and electronic equipment will end as agreed on December 31, 2007 and will not be extended. The reason for the termination of the contractual relationship is due to a change in strategy by ERP which will be based on a different business model. "We regret of course that there will no longer be any co-operation between CCR and ERP in future, but we consider this also as an opportunity to offer our take-back logistics to a large number of customers, which we could not service until now due to an exclusivity clause”, said Achim Winter, CEO of CCR Logistics Systems AG when commenting on the situation. "We are already working for some of our customers with our paneuropean infrastructure and we will strengthen our position opening new CCR subsidiaries, which will allow us to enlarge our business as well in the take back of WEEE.“
