Senvion and EnBW Conclude Cooperation Agreement

EnBW will submit planning applications for several hundred megawatts of projects with Senvion 3.4M140 turbines / Cooperation underlines the strength of the new Senvion low-speed wind platform in the core market of Germany

Hamburg, (PresseBox) - Senvion, a leading global manufacturer of wind turbines, was selected by EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG as its exclusive cooperation partner for the realization of projects totaling several hundred megawatts (MW) throughout Germany. At the start of the cooperation, EnBW will submit planning applications at short notice for the planned projects featuring the new Senvion 3.4M140 low-speed wind turbine. Once approval is obtained, the wind farms are then able to participate in auctions under the German Renewable Energy Sources Act.
