REpower Systems AG (WKN 617703) is expanding its production capacity in Germany and today inaugurates a new production hall at the company’s manufacturing site in Trampe, located to the northeast of Berlin.
To meet the increasing demand for wind energy turbines of the multi-megawatt class "made by REpower", the existing halls, each with a length of 55 metres, have both been extended by an annex of 35 metres length each. For this purpose, the company has invested approx. EUR 1.2 million. Construction started in June this year, the halls were completed last week.
