KG, the leading manufacturer of high-quality fine papers, uncoated label papers and specialty papers based in Düren, Germany, is taking another important step towards sustainable production: the company is planning to build a ground-mounted photovoltaic system with a capacity of 5 megawatts peak (MWp). In the future, the planned plant will cover up to 30 percent of the paper mill's current electricity requirements, thus making a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.
