REA JET: Increase efficiency, reduce costs

The packaging industry strives to combine economic efficiency and customer requirements. At FachPack REA JET presents coding and marking technology for fast, high-resolution, contact-free marking on non-absorbing surfaces. The presented inkjet systems are an alternative to many Continuous Ink Jet printers. By using newly developed inks, even plastic or foil can be marked absolutely clean, ecologically and solvent-free. The package content is protected against odor and emissions like evaporating solvent, a great advantage especially for the food and pharmaceutical industry. Moreover, the risk of fire and the efforts of securing the stock can be significantly reduced.

REA JET presents thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers of the REA JET HR series, based on the future-proof HP technology. These systems are completely maintenance-free due to the fact that with every cartridge change a new print head is available - there are no follow-up costs for service and spare parts. The system prints data, numbers, codes and graphics with up to 600dpi resolution, is economical to use and is also ready to operate even after not being used for a longer period of time. In conjunction with fast drying inks a perfectly readable print is marked. The marking is smudge-proof within a split second as well as light- and water resistant without additional treatment. Due to excellent adhesion properties and short drying time the product speed can be increased and thus increase efficiency in production.

At the trade show REA Jet will also present Laser and labeling solutions including pallet labelers, thermal transfer printers, labeling dispensers, print and apply systems and the marking of labels by a high-resolution inkjet printer. The product line includes blank labels or pre-printed labels, security badges, water-, oil- and grease-resistant labels and ribbons matched to the respective application. The systems from REA JET meet the requirements of industry 4.0 and can be flexibly integrated into the production line and communicate with higher-level systems thanks to modern interfaces.
