Quick Cargo Service has opened a new office close to the Dutch border, in the economic heartland of Münster-Osnabrück, which will be led by the experienced logistics expert Stephan Saggau.

Network consolidation

With this new office Quick Cargo is pursuing its strategy of continual, close-knit network expansion. The company now has eleven offices throughout Germany (Frankfurt, Hamburg Sea and Hamburg Air, Berlin, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Munich, Hanover, Cologne, Nuremberg and Gronau) and has further representation across Europe in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London, Basel, Zurich, Copenhagen and Warsaw.

The Gronau office will be an important hub for the firm, particularly for sea-freight imports from the Netherlands. “Around Gronau we already have an established customer base, and we can now offer these customers even better service. It is a very interesting business area for us”, says Stephan Haltmayer as a summary of his firm’s motivation. “As a professional service provider who always puts our customers concerns in the foreground, it is essential for us to be close to our customers so that they can be in direct contact with us, Haltmayer further explains. Furthermore the experienced forwarding company – Quick Cargo Service belongs to the top ten owner-run IATA forwarders – plans to generate further airfreight business in the region. In the airfreight field the company is a reliable partner for worldwide shipments.

Additional staff required locally

The new Quick Cargo presence in Gronau is currently staffed by two logistics specialists. By February of next year it is planned to increase this number to a total of ten experienced forwarders.
