PROMIS and the BPTG have signed today a memorandum of understanding about future joint operations to create a higher demand for their services and products around the world. Through this alliance PROMIS will become with their Enterprise Value Architect (EVA) Netmodeler an official Custodian of the 8 Omega Framework.

The intention of the cooperation is to establish a strategic alliance leveraging PROMIS strong expertise in this area with the right suite of products and BPTG skills in the area of methodology and implementation. BPTG's existing Network of experienced Consultants coupled with a large Customer portfolio and PROMIS EVA product suite will generate a successful mix for both parties.

8 Omega provides a single framework for strategic change that can be applied to any organisation and its business processes. With the alliance between PSAG and BPTG, the framework will be transferred into the EVA Netmodeler to provide customers with an easier access and a head start in using the framework in their change projects. The information stored in EVA's repository is directly available and can be adapted to the need of the customers.

All members of the BPTG will get access to 8 Omega via the portal which is currently established within the EVA Netmodeler Server, which will be hosted by the BPTG. Therefore collaboration between all members will become a simple effort. New versions with detailed levels of information, as well as reference models within the framework can now be developed within a significantly shorter timeframe to give customers and members an even better starting ground.

David Lyneham-Brown, Founder of the BPTG says "Through this partnership we are able to deliver our knowledge in a reusable and scalable way. Members will benefit a great deal from our knowledge management driven approach. We welcome the joint initiative and are aiming to serve the EA and BPA market with this very mature approach."

Florian Krueger, President of PSAG says "I am excited about the advantages for Enterprise Architects and Process Engineers from around the world, being able to use EVA Netmodeler in combination with this great holistic framework. The ideas within 8 Omega are very valid and the overlap to our own development has been astonishing. Customers and Partners will be impressed by the possibilities they can leverage upon through this partnership."
