TCI Entwicklerworkshop

Die PROFIUS Nutzerorganisation e. V. veranstaltet am 14. März 2007 in Karlsruhe einen Workshop für Entwickler zu dem Thema TCI (Tool Calling Interface).

TCI wurde in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der AIDA, der Automatisierungs Initiative Deutscher Automobilhersteller, entwickelt. TCI erlaubt herstellerübergreifend das Laden von dynamischen Parametern in PROFIBUS- und PROFINET-Geräte, ohne das Engineering-Tool des Automatisierungssystems verlassen zu müssen. Für die Anwender ergibt sich daraus eine deutliche Vereinfachung und Zeitersparnis bei der Projektierung ihrer Anlagen und Maschinen. Engineering-Tools müssen dementsprechend um eine TCI-Schnittstelle erweitert werden.

Zur Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von Engineeringtools für Produkthersteller wird in dem halbtägigen Workshop der PNO das TCI-Konzept vorgestellt und der Pfad von Parametrierung zum Gerät beschrieben. Abgerundet wird die Veranstaltung durch Implementierungsbeispiele für PROFIBUS und PROFINET.
