trac-x Increases Number of Tradable Day-Ahead Network Points

(PresseBox) ( Leipzig, )
The European trading platform tracx has again increased the number of tradable network points in the dayahead section of their platform. From today, dayahead capacity can be traded at the network points Emden EPT (Entry), Emden NPT (Entry), Bunder Tief (Entry und Exit), Drohne (Exit) as well as Emsbüren Berge (exit) and Emsbüren RG (Exit). In the future, dayahead capacity at these points can be traded in the transmission grid of Gasunie Deutschland Transport Services GmbH.

After tracx's last increase of the number of network points in January 2010, dayahead capacity can now be traded at 22 network points in the transmission grids of six German and European network operators.

"Over the past years our focus has clearly been on increasing the platform offers and by that to strengthen our position in the capacity market", said Volkmar Müller, managing director of tracx. Mr. Müller also said tracx would continue to approach European TSOs in order to promote secondary capacity trading in Europe and by that to facilitate liquidity of the European capacity market.

Interested traders can now register for the new network points on the tracx platform.
