Belgian TSO Fluxys Belgium and French TSO GRTgaz announce further bundled auctions via PRISMA
Starting with the monthly capacity auctions in April 2014, Fluxys Belgium and GRTgaz will offer bundled monthly capacity at the interconnection point Blaregnies Troll/Taisnières H, between Belgium and France, in both directions.
ZTP - PEG Nord: Firm
PEG Nord - ZTP: Backhaul
As of June 2014, bundled quarterly capacity will be offered in the same combinations as described above.
Towards full compliance with CAM NC
Taking these additions into account, all products for H-gas at the Belgian-French border will be progressively offered according to the CAM Network Code. The minimum of available capacity at both sides of the border will be bundled on PRISMA. With these developments, both TSOs will enable a smooth transition towards the new allocation rules and standard products applicable from 1 November 2015, as set out in Commission Regulation (EU) No 984/2013.
PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH
PRISMA was founded by major European TSOs from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands with the aim to create a joint European capacity platform.
The new European Platform PRISMA, which was launched in April 2013, is the first platform to have implemented ENTSOG's Network Code on Capacity Allocation Mechanisms, the future European market rules for allocating transport capacity.
There are currently 28 European TSOs from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain connected to the platform and market transport capacity via PRISMA. 22 TSOs from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom are shareholders of PRISMA.
With its harmonised capacity products and auction mechanisms and its ability to serve a high number of TSO backend systems in accordance with ENTSOG's CAM Network Code, PRISMA is a major step towards an integrated European gas market.
