PREMO RFID shows its T-Coil for hearing aid systems sector
At present PREMO RFID provides this type of coils within TP0602 (length: 6.5mm) and TP0702 (length: 7.7mm) families with custom electrical properties to fit requirements of its customers according to highest quality standards (ISO/TS 16949:02, ISO 9001:2000). Nowadays, new products of the range will include components of 5, 9 and 11 millimetres.
T-coils, included in mostly of current hearing aid devices, allow that people with hearing losses improve their hearing experience reducing reverb, distance and background noise effects (It usually happens in theatres, using phones, etc.)
Since 50% of hearing losses (with audiometric values higher than 25dB) could be treated with hearing aid devices this market is going to grow up around 10% in the following three years.
In more than 3.000 m2 of plant PREMO RFID is developing and manufacturing a wide product range of RFID antennas that are in the daily life of million people over the world, including antennas for automotive, animal identification, access control, heart beat monitoring systems for sports watches, T coil for earing aids systems, telecommunication, cable TV, RF circuits and mobile telephone.
The R&D department has the newest equipment to develop RFID components with the maximum operation security and according to current standards.
