Pironet NDH AG petitions for Supervisory Board appointment

(PresseBox) ( Cologne, Germany, )
Effective today, the Executive Board of Pironet NDH Aktiengesellschaft has petitioned with the court of registry, the District Court of Cologne, for a supplementary judicial order pursuant to Section 104 (2) of the German Stock Corporation Act in order to ensure the completeness of its six-member Supervisory Board as set forth under the statutes and articles of Pironet NDH AG.

On February 18, 2014, the outgoing Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pironet NDH AG, Dr. Harald Rieger, had informed the Company of his resignation from his office as a member of the Supervisory Board, effective February 28, 2014.

The Executive Board of Pironet NDH AG has proposed Mr. Rudolf Hotter, a member of the Management Board at CANCOM SE in Munich, to the court of registry, the District Court of Cologne, for the supplementary order. Since the beginning of 2014, CANCOM SE has held a majority share of more than 75% in Pironet NDH AG; the Company is thus a part of the CANCOM SE Group.

The Supervisory Board and Executive Board members would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Rieger very much, expressly and personally, for his work on behalf of the Company. Dr. Rieger had chaired the Supervisory Board at Pironet NDH AG since August 31, 2010, and during the past few years he has provided substantial assistance to the Company during a crucial phase of business reorganization.
