Neues GPS-Simulationssystem für die Qualifizierung von GPS-Komponenten

Phoenix Testlab, unabhängiges und akkreditiertes Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut mit Sitz in Blomberg erweitert sein Funklabor um ein GPS-Simulationssystem. Damit bietet das Prüflabor zusätzliche Dienstleistungen im Bereich Prüfungen und Qualifizierungen von GPS-gestützten Navigations- und Positionierungsgeräte an.

Mit Hilfe des neuen 12-kanaligen GPS-Simulationssystems, werden dem GPS-Empfänger reale oder fiktive Streckenverläufe vorgegeben. Somit sind Navigationsszenarien nachstellbar und Navigationsprogramme können getestet werden. Weiterhin können die Einflüsse der verschiedenen Parameter auf die Positionsgenauigkeit untersucht werden. Dies sind z. B. wechselnde Dynamik, Empfangesstörungen durch Abschattung und Fehler im Satellitensystem.
