Fendrich überzeugte mit Forschungsergebnissen und Zukunftsperspektive

Als eines von elf Mitgliedern ist der Marburger Chirurg Dr. Volker Fendrich in die neu gegründete Exzellenz-Akademie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Allgemein- und Viszeralchirurgie ausgewählt worden. Fendrich, , arbeitet seit 2001 in der Visceral-, Thorax- und Gefäßchirurgie am Uniklinikum in Marburg. In einem unabhängigen Gutachterverfahren wurde Fendrich "aufgrund herausragender Forschungsergebnisse und Zukunftsperspektive" ausgewählt. Ausschlaggebend für die Auswahl in die Exzellenz-Akademie war die Überzeugung seines Vorgesetzen, Prof. Dr. Bartsch, dass aus Fendrich ein ausgewiesener klinischer Chirurg werden könnte und er ihn deshalb in bestmöglicher Weise in dessen klinischer Ausbildung unterstützen werde.
