En coopération avec l'entreprise partenaire Embedded Systems Academy (EmSA), PEAK-System a développé un dispositif d'entrée/sortie avec connexion CANopen et CANopen FD. Le PCAN-MicroMod FD DR CANopen Digital 1 dispose de 8 entrées et 8 sorties numériques et est livré dans un boîtier sur rail DIN avec des borniers à vis Phoenix.

Les entrées sont conformes à la norme API DIN EN 61131-2 et ont des caractéristiques de type 3. Elles sont isolées galvaniquement de l'alimentation de l'appareil jusqu'à 100 V en deux groupes.
