NP: Avanzada7 has established itself as one of the distributors of reference in the Iberian Peninsula in Voice over IP. Its 10-year history has practically accompanied this technology from birth. What evolution has followed the company since its inception?
GR: The Avanzada7 engineering company was born and we have tried to maintain that philosophy today. We want to differentiate the classic figure of distributor focused on the logistics of the channel, as the resources of the company are dedicated to giving technical support and consulting services and training to our clients.
NP: Avanzada7 has always been concerned to create spaces for VoIP technology diffusion as organizer of VoIP2DAY, one of the industry-benchmark forums in Europe. What has been the evolution of this event in recent years and the balance of the last edition? What are the prospects for future editions?
GR: VoIP2DAY has been an event that has not only been consolidated as the only European reference for unified communications, VoIP telephony and professional but has continued to grow, both in sponsoring and supporting sponsors the event as visitors and media coverage.
For future editions, as we did in the first 5 issues, listen to the feedback we get from the participants and try to innovate and give voice to the sector strategic players. NP: In two countries, Portugal and Spain, with many small-sized SMEs, does Voice over IP technology have no place in the business? Is understood and /or used by companies?

NP: What is the type of customer? You are looking for very specific solutions, knowing the products or rely on the advice and support that gives Avanzada7?
GR: Our channel is frankly mixed. IT ranges from the self-employed or companies with fewer than 5 employees up to major phone operators, through the country's leading consultants and integrators of medium size. Among them, it is possible to find companies that make us your first contact with IP telephony and others with years of industry experience. The added value we place on the sale of any product leaving our warehouse (channel policy clear, and after sales support, or a quick and flexible logistics among other values) today is our best tool to starting loyalty.
NP: One of the manufacturers that have started working this year is the U.S. multinational Patton Electronics, whose Spanish market penetration is growing share in recent times. What would you highlight of this company
