Amdocs' MWC announcements strengthen its position

London, (PresseBox) - “Amdocs' announcements at MWC 2014 underline its drive to leverage its recent acquisitions and its Big Data capabilities to ease telco pain points and improve the overall experience for its telco customers. Its enhanced customer experience product suite, Amdocs CES 9.1, provides capabilities that extend telco customer support to SMEs, an often-neglected market segment. The provider's other announcements were based on the extension of its Big Data analytics offerings with the release of the Amdocs TeraScale solution and the launch of its Self-Optimizing Network product. The latter comes from Amdocs' recently created Network Solutions business, and leverages the capabilities of its recent acquisitions Celcite and Actix.

"With these product releases, Amdocs has placed itself in a strong position in the competitive landscape. Its TeraScale solution will give telcos an enhanced view of the customer experience, as well as provide opportunities to monetize the data and thereby grow revenues. Furthermore, the Amdocs Self-Organizing Networks product enables telcos to leverage insights not just from the network, but from data held in the CRM system that delivers customer-centric optimization tasks. By contrast, the comparable solutions that Amdocs' peers provide remain network-focused."
