Auch wenn die Entwicklungsarbeiten an der neuen Code-Line 2.0 in vollem Gange sind, gibt es doch hin und wieder Verbesserungen, die noch in die aktuelle Version einfliessen. OpenOffice.org 1.1.3 steht für Windows, Linux und Solaris in der englischen Version ab sofort zum Download bereit.

Mit diesem Patch-Release wurden einige gemeldete Kleinigkeiten behoben und eine unter Linux / Unix Mehrbenutzersystemen unter Umständen auftretende Möglichkeit unterbunden, gezippte zwischengespeicherte Dateien aus dem Temp Verzeichnis unauthorisert auszulesen.

Eine Update-Empfehlung gibt es somit insbesondere für produktive Linux / Unix Umgebungen, in denen OpenOffice.org in sicherheitsrelevanten Bereichen eingesetzt wird.
