Open-E releases new update 66 for Data Storage Software V7

Linux-based data storage software now with new drivers

Open-E, a leading developer of innovative data storage software, released a new update for its data storage software Open-E DSS V7. This update is free of charge for all existing Open-E DSS V7 users.

The update 66 of Open-E DSS V7 contains updates and fixes that improve the overall storage management and performance.

The improvements in the software include:

Kernel 4.4.45
UEFI boot mode support 
Mellanox ConnectX-4 and ConnectX-5 40/100GbE driver (mlx5_core, v4.4-2.0.7)
Microsemi Adaptec SmartHBA and SmartRAID driver (smartpgi v1.1.4-132)
Kdump (kernel crash dumping system)
