‘Businesses to benefit from free money-saving energy audits: no excuses’

(PresseBox) (London, ) From today, all businesses can benefit from free energy audits, thanks to OneWorldEnergy, in a bid to change corporate consumers’ approach to being green.

OneWorldEnergy (, which launches online today, is the first green one-stop-shop for homeowners and businesses to receive simple and honest advice, and purchase everything relating to green energy, from solar panels to green electricity tariffs.

OneWorldEnergy managing director, Rudi Schogger, explains: "We have simplified the minefield of information and brought together the best green energy products and services. In less than 10 minutes, anyone can make their business more environmentally friendly. Therefore confusion and lack of time should no longer be excuses for not being green. By making being green simple, businesses will find it easier to embrace a greener life."

OneWorldEnergy, which has teamed up with some of the leading names in the green sector, including The CarbonNeutral Company, Greenhelpline and Ethical Supermarket, has also created the Green Employee Scheme, which allows larger companies to encourage their employees to adopt greener measures for their homes, reflecting their own CSR efforts and improving employee relations.

Sue Welland, Founder and Director, The CarbonNeutral Company, said: "Consumer research shows that it’s important to make low carbon living accessible and easy to implement for people. There are a lot of ways that individuals can help to reduce and offset carbon emissions and the OneWorldEnergy website is a great service that will enable individuals to do just that – at a touch of a button. The CarbonNeutral Company welcomes new initiatives to help our aim to combat Climate Change."

OneWorldEnergy also plans to launch a chain of green energy showrooms in 2008, enabling customers to view products up close, and receive one-to-one advice from a specialist environmental consultant.
