The new Volkmann CT sets new standards in staple fiber twisting
Traditionally, the product line Volkmann aims to reach ever higher performance and quality goals. Volkmann offer customers the entire production spectrum based on a platform which is viable for the future. The new eco-drive concept and the new eco-spindle perfectly complement the existing e-save spindle family, and customers save up to 40% in energy costs even for very fine yarn counts. Optimal yarn and package evenness are achieved thanks to a newly designed winding-on geometry and the lengthened winding triangle. Process handling has a new efficiency dimension and optionally includes central setting possibilities, recipe administration, quality monitoring, length measuring and further parameters. Really easy operating and absolute safety are integrated. With its modular construction, the Volkmann CT covers all raw material and yarn count sectors and with its first-class yarn and package quality offers the best pre-requisites for maximum added value, today and tomorrow.
Volkmann Heat-SET shortens the carpet yarn process
BCF carpet yarns are thermally heated after cabling in order to stabilize their shape, called thermo-fixing. Now Volkmann has integrated this additional processing step with a new procedure into a combined machine concept, thus cabling, thermo-fixing (heat setting) and winding in one process cycle. Customers benefit: no more intermediate storage and intermediate handling, processing costs are greatly reduced and an important contribution is made to cost-efficiency with faster fulfilment of contracts, shorter process cycles and increased plant efficiency.
Allma TC2 - for perfect technical yarns
The market for technical yarns is enjoying extensive growth and an ever-increasing range of uses. First-class yarn quality and production flexibility are required. The market leader Oerlikon Saurer, with its Allma Product Line, has perfected the manufacture of technical yarns and with the new Allma TC2 offers a two-for-one twisting machine with unique flexibility and productivity which completely fulfils the demands of the market. All imaginable materials in the count range 235 to 60,000 dtex can be processed, with production speeds of up to 450 m/min. New markets for creative products have opened up for customers thanks to the extended count range. Innovative processing technologies help to perfect the package quality further.
