Auf der Fachmesse Grindtec vom 18. bis 21. März 2020 in Augsburg nimmt der führende Oberflächenexperte Oerlikon Balzers (Halle 5, Stand 5086) zwei zukunftsweisende Themen für höheren Kundennutzen ins Visier.

Das digitale Servicekonzept auf Basis der Online-Kundenplattform myBalzers und einer vernetzten App ermöglicht registrierten Kunden die einfachere Auftragsabwicklung rund um die Werkzeugbeschichtung sowie die lückenlose Auftragsverfolgung der Ware von der Abholung bis zur Auslieferung (Door-to-Door-Tracking). Künftig soll die digitale Identifikation von Werkzeugen anhand von lasergravierten Data Matrix Codes (DMC) Transparenz über die Werkzeughistorie schaffen und Daten für eine optimierte Beschichtung und Wiederaufbereitung verfügbar machen.
