Axelmeiselicht presents his company's DNA in the shape of a giant helix. As visitors pass through the helix measuring 4 metres high by 12 metres long, which is also the starting point for all future developments, they gain an insight into the latest projects from the 'Occhio house' along the way. In collaboration with the Augsburg architect Prof. Titus Bernhard, Axel Meise is working on designs for current and future living.

A bridge takes you to the centre of the helix into the world's first Axelmeiselicht flagship store concept. a central rotunda gives visitors a sensual experience of the systematic design of Occhio.

The surrounding lounge area, which incorporates Occhio Sento lighting and flatscreens, also provides an area for visitors to get to know the innovate 'Occhio Navigator' marketing tool in a relaxed setting. This web-based platform is the company's new way of selling its products, and combines inspiration with individual configuration. Using a product configurator, customers can simulate Occhio system configurations themselves and source inspiration from case studies using a log-in database of images.

These media applications enable customers to share in Occhio developments and options. All tools have been developed with the core brand in mind. The fundamental evolutionary approach looks at long-term needs in order to respond with ideas and innovative products.
