Premiere: Cleanroom Village powered by Chillventa

(PresseBox) ( Nürnberg, )
-Focus on cleanroom technology
-Workshop: Making the invisible visible

Cleanrooms for the protection of products and people are permanent features of a wide range of production lines. The Cleanroom Village is presented for the first time at Chillventa in October 2010. This special show will reflect the whole spectrum of cleanroom technology, the ultimate form of air conditioning. The Cleanroom Village is an ideal extension to the range of products at Chillventa and creates synergies. The International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heat Pumps takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 13-15 October 2010.

Research, industry and service providers also rely increasingly on standardized production conditions with exactly defined operating parameters. Besides the ever increasing demands on product quality, a main driving force behind the rapidly growing use of cleanroom technology is the traceability of production parameters.

Various industries have been using the advantages of cleanroom production for a long time: pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, biosciences, food, health food, microelectronics, and laboratories and research institutions too. But the aerospace industry, medical engineering, automotive industry or manufacturers of photovoltaic systems also increasingly often require their suppliers to provide components from production under exactly controlled and traceable conditions. And this is only possible in clean and ultraclean rooms.

The industrial safety requirements are also growing at the same time, however. For example, cleanroom enclosures must be provided for production in many areas of the widely used nanotechnology to ensure full protection of employees against contact with the nanoparticles. Pharmacies are another example of the constantly growing demand for cleanrooms and are increasingly equipping their laboratories with small cleanrooms.

Exhibition, workshop, lectures and action area

The Cleanroom Village is a separate platform dedicated to cleanroom technology, which extends the spectrum of themes and products at Chillventa by adding the most sophisticated form of air conditioning for manufacturers and operators.

The Cleanroom Village focuses on the following themes in 2010:

-Cleanroom planning, construction and equipment
-Air treatment and cleanroom air conditioning
-C&I for cleanrooms
-Advice on cleanroom production, operation and quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
-Maintenance and service for cleanrooms
-Cleanroom certification
-Protective clothing for cleanrooms
-Training and qualification of cleanroom staff
-Cleaning of cleanrooms
-New developments and improvements

Making the invisible visible

Cleanroom specialists provide insights into the world of cleanrooms at lectures and workshops parallel to the exhibition. The lecture topics range from fundamentals, current technology trends and certification requirements to the necessary measures for staff training. Under the motto of "We make the invisible visible", a particle counter demonstrates the differences between "normal" ambient air and cleanroom conditions.

Synergies for exhibitors and visitors

With its broad and comprehensive range of products for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps, Chillventa offers ideal conditions for the addition of cleanroom technology. As crossindustry expert forum, the Cleanroom Village powered by Chillventa will also appeal to the broad base of visitors at Chillventa. The integration of the themes and technologies of the Cleanroom Village and Chillventa is an enhancement for visitors and exhibitors.
