Fast zeitgleich mit der Installation des ersten Fundaments im Offshore-Windpark Deutsche Bucht erhielt das erfahrene Luftfahrtunternehmen für die Offshore-Branche Northern HeliCopter GmbH (NHC) aus Emden den Zuschlag für Transportflüge/Crew Changes des globalen maritimen Dienstleister Van Oord NV, Balance of Plant Contractor des Offshore-Windparks. Die Laufzeit des Vertrages erstreckt sich bis Ende der Projektdauer. Van Oord ist Auftragnehmer der Northland Deutsche Bucht GmbH, die bereits im vergangenen Monat einen Rahmenvertrag über Transporte mit Northern HeliCopter abgeschlossen hat. Deutsche Bucht ist der dritte Offshore- Windpark von Northland Power.
