Setting the stage for ubiquitous mobile services, m:tel selects Nokia Siemens Networks to extend and enhance its GSM network

Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, (PresseBox) - RS a.d. Banja Luka - m:tel, one of the country's leading communications service provider, will soon extend its services to more customers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while improving their overall enduser experience. The operator has chosen Nokia Siemens Networks to expand and upgrade its GSM network and enable customized services for its subscribers.

As part of the contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will expand m:tel's GSM radio network and mobile softswitching core network, and ensure efficient and rapid rollout through professional implementation services.

The company will also provide its Service Assurance Solution, offering to give m:tel a realtime view of user activity and service usage to enable rapid problem detection and the introduction of new services. Likewise, Nokia Siemens Networks' browsing gateway will provide m:tel customers with access to advanced data services, and an extension of the charge@once prepaid charging platform will pave the way for attractive loyalty programs.
