Capturing the Broadband Opportunity

Espoo, (PresseBox) - In Broadband World Forum Americas 2007, Nokia Siemens Networks presents its view of how the broadband market will develop in Latin America and how can operators make the most of the new market situation.

The broadband market in Latin America is growing rapidly. Internet is the main broadband application currently, but end-user demand and the market environment are changing. This will open up a number of opportunities for service providers.

How can service providers make use of these business opportunities? What kind of services will be expected from them, where will the revenue come from, and what technological upgrades are needed to meet future expectations? What role will regulation play in driving competition?

An expert session will be held at Broadband World Forum Americas 2007 to share Nokia Siemens Networks’ view of Latin America’s broadband market potential, and provide insight to how service providers can take advantage of the arising opportunities.

The presentation will be held by Martin Lüst, Head of Broadband Access business unit in Nokia Siemens Networks, in ITM Expo Auditorio A2 on December 5, 12:30-13:00 p.m.
