Mehr als 1 Million zusätzliche Förderung für den Innovationsstandort newPark

NRW-Wirtschaftsminister Garrelt Duin hat heute in Düsseldorf einen Förderbescheid über 1,16 Mio. EUR für das Industrieareal newPark an den Landrat des Kreises Recklinghausen und newPark-Aufsichtsratsvorsitzen­den Cay Süberkrüb übergeben. Mit der Förderung soll „die Pro­filierung der Emscher-Lippe-Re­gion als Standort für die Ansiedlung von Unternehmen kraftvoll vorangetrieben“ werden, so der Wirtschaftsminister.

Das landesbedeutsame Industrieareal newPark soll in den nächsten Jahren zum Top-Innova­tionstandort für neue Industrie in NRW werden. Auf insgesamt 300 ha (davon: 156 ha vermarkt­bare Industriefläche) bietet es Platz für große industrielle Investitionsvorhaben und –netzwerke. Durch newPark sollen tausende neue Arbeitsplätze in der Emscher-Lippe Region entstehen.
