Open Source Backup Conference 2017 - Call for Papers

(PresseBox) ( Nuremberg, )
For the conference which specializes in open source backup solutions, potential speakers may hand in their suggestions for talks by June 6 via the conference website. The Open Source Backup Conference in Cologne takes place from the 25th to the 26th of September 2017.

We are now searching for impulse-generating talks by renowned speakers. Decision makers, developers and influential representatives from the open source environment seize this annual opportunity to exchange views on the newest development, establish contacts and to set off pioneering projects.

The focus of the two-day conference on the 26th and 27th of September 2017 is operating open source software such as AMANDA, REAR and BAREOS. The program will be a mix of technical talks, strategic presentations and entertaining speakers.
On the 27th of September the attendees may book one of 3 intensive workshops and gain practical knowledge. With Puppet, BAREOS Introduction and Scripting BAREOS, the three workshops are already fixed.

The call for papers for the Open Source Backup Conference will be open until June 6, 2017. On the conference website on osbconf.org, those interested have the opportunity to hand in talks in English. The reduced early bird tickets are also available until the end of May.
